GET TO KNOW THE GAME
There are 3 Major Aspects of Stableking. Racing (on the pink tab) Training (on the green Tab) and Breeding (also on the green Tab). The following is a thumbnail sketch.
Your first horse will probably be a "Create" one you create yourself by going to
Your stable then
Horse Finance
Create Horse
you get 3 free my advice is create a 4th 2 colts and 2 fillies.
You will see something when you click on a horses name that looks like this
Example Horse
So what does all this mean
HORSE STATISTICS
The first really important one is Performance rating (PR) between 0-200 the higher the number the better the horse
Next it's record some races are limited by no of wins or no of races
next number of times bred.....big news if you plan to breed each horse is max of 10 breeds
Finally the speed ratings the block of numbers. Here is a rough guide to what a create will be like
Surface (Adjustment) at 1 at 24
HARD (+1) 11.0 to 12.0
FIRM (+0.5) 10.5 to 11.5
GOOD (+0) 10.0 to 11.0
SOFT (+2) 12.0 to 13.0
HEAVY (+3) 13.0 to 14.0
DIRT (+0.7) 10.7 to 11.7
you will also on TRAIN HORSE see another set of number these are the Trainer Sr's or Tsr or Tr Sr the best analogy i can draw is these numbers are the fractions of a second the lower the better so if you has a 10.7 furlong with a 10.2 Tr Sr it would be close to 10.70 where as a 13.0 may be a 10.79.
The adjustments I mention are to the good time so if your horse is 10.5 at a furlong on good you would expect
11.5 at the same furlong Hard
11.0 Firm
12.5 Soft
13.5 Heavy
11.2 Dirt
Idf the value you find is greated than this it is better on good if it is less it is better on that ground. By doing this with tevery horse you will soon undersatnd what your trainer is telling you and will not need to ask him. Now be warned these horses are not going to be very good DO NOT EXPECT to win lots with them. However they do suffice for the start. Now you have them what do you do.
WHAT TO DO WITH A HORSE
First Off
INVENTORY IT (Your Stable then horse history)
Go and ask your trainer and he will tell you what surface and what distance to race your horse at...until you have a little more experience use this. Once you have this information check the appropriate boxes. Please note the trainer will only give you 2 grounds so IF and only IF your horse has the exact same times on other grounds check it too.
Train Them (Your Stable then Train Horse)
Training only needs to be done once and it is good until u decide to change it. Try some training on every furlong if you horse runs under 20F over 20 use only ground training. DO NOT PUT a little on ground and a little on Furlongs it will mess your horse up. Ok so now you have trained your horse what next ?
Find A Jockey (Your stable/jockey history)
do a search and find what jockey has won the most races at the distance you horse runs then go to allocate jockey, select pool jockeys and put him on. Ok so your horse is trained and has a jockey what next? New Info is
The relationship between a jockey and distance is a legacy from a previous calculation and I need to remove that misunderstanding. The success of a jockey is based solely on their relationship with the horse. Jockey A could ride Horse A with great success and Jockey B could ride Horse B with great success. But Jockey A and Horse B may be a failure and similarly Jockey B with Horse A could be a failure. The combinations of performances between jockeys and horses are almost limitless and within the game it is case of experimenting to find the best matching pair.
So get those Create jockeys out and see what you can do !
RACE IT ! (Races Then Enter Race)
Go and search for a race your horse qualifies for then hit enter race. and you are in ! A word of advice here race your horse in or as close to its class as you can running a pr 23 horse in a 200 class race first up is suicidal. If it is PR 32 then race it in 0-40 class. So that's it right? Not Quite
Race Instructions (Races than race instructions)
Here is where you tell your jockey what to do you get 100 points in 10 point blocks use them wisely, and there you go your horse is ready to run. Word of advice do not run your horse 3 times a day once will be just fine.
So your horse runs it can earn 3 different things when it races
1. Money always good but must finish in the top 3
2. Points only relevant in Nations Cup Races
3. BI (Breeding Indicator) points. In a full field the top 8 get 1 point each it reduces as the field reduces these BI points are vital when it come time to BREED !
BREEDING
Ok you have waited 10 days and your 2 coltd are now Stallions and your two fillies are mares and u did well enough to earn 10 BI points. You have asked your trainer and he said you have
11f soft filly
13 f hard colt
12 f soft colt
5f firm filly
u may want to try breeding the soft horses or you may want to hit
THE HORSE MARKET (other Stables Then horse market)
Here horses are put up for sale some cheap some not so cheap. But it is a good place to find a potential breeding match for your horse which brings me to
THE TRACKS (Your Stable then world Map)
There are a total of 22 tracks 1 Defualt and 21 Virtual Tracks. The following has been revealled about the virtual tracks
1. Tracks in the same region as your stable will gain your horse a small bonus. The regions are
North America (5)
Golden Arch, Blugrass Ridge, Horsehead Hill, Atlantic Arena, Twelve Oaks
South America (2)
Cavalo Do Sol, Mexico
Europe(6)
Castlepoint, Dullahan, Slough City, Parc De Triumphe, Italy, Germany
Middle East (1)
Al Sahar
Africa (1)
Vlakke Berg
Indo-China (2)
Lucky Valley, Red Dragon
Japan/Korea (1)
Kachiuma
Australia/New Zealand (3)
Blackstump, Brumby Down, Tiki Springs
2. The tracks are falt, uphill, downhill, left handed, right handed, tightly curved and widely curved. Each of your horses will either prefer each of these charcteristics or dislike them or be indifferent to them. Once again the horse gains a slight bonus if it prefers any of these factors relative to other horses. So horses that like tight left handed bends speed up on the tight left handed bend of a race track. If the next section of the track is uphill and they dislike uphill then they will slow down slightly. As usual the preference for any of these factors work in combination.
3. Just to add that swapping the location of your stable each time before entering a horse in different parts of the world does more harm than good.
So look for those close to hom races and pay attention to where your horses run best !
